The iPad version of our annual Logistics Planner includes a built-in web browser, so you can tap any companys web link or logo and go directly to their site for more information without ever leaving the Planner app. Each profile also includes an e-mail link so you can send mail directly to a company using the iPads native Mail app.

The apps built-in browser also provides access to Inbound Logistics’ exclusive online RFP service -- just tap the Inbound Logistics logo on any profile page -- through which you can detail your specific challenges and needs, specify services youre interested in, and request information from multiple companies at once.

The iPad Planner allows readers fast access to profiles by tapping for a drop-down, scrollable table of contents, swiping through thumbnails of profile pages in an overview mode, or dragging a playhead at the bottom of the screen. Profiles pages are designed in both vertical and horizontal orientations and adapt to whichever way you turn the iPad.

Because the iPad Planner is a completely electronic publication, it offers enhanced features such as embedded videos and slideshows that cant be offered in print. Slideshows run automatically, and videos play at the users discretion with a simple tap. A second tap reveals controls that allow videos to play in fullscreen mode, either vertically or horizontally.
